Episode 2: Trust Me

        It was 8:00 a.m. Dr.Melissa was busy with her patients' reports. She was waiting for the ICU visit, but her Junior doctors were not reached to the Hospital.
        "Good morning, Melissa.", Harrie entered in her cabin.
        "Very good morning, Harrie.", she replied with smile.
        "you've come earlier than your time, I think.", he said
        "No, I come daily before my duty time. An hour before. This department needs more time than duty hours. Why have you come earlier?", she asked him.
         "This is my regular time at any place of working. My team will come after half an hour. I always come earlier than them. Because I need to check the previous day's work.", he replied
         "Ok!!! Let's go for coffee now, before my juniors join their duty.", she replied and put the files on her desktop.
         "Ok!!! let's go", he agreed with smile.
         "Would you like to test new equipments installed in that ICU room?", he asked her.
         " I had seen them when I came, but not tested yet. We will see them after coffee.", she replied.
         He was walking fast and Dr. Melissa was following him. She was excited to tell him something, but controlled herself for that time. She brought two cups and they started talking.
          "I was in the TB ward, when you had paid for that lady. I have seen so few people who believes in charity. You are kindman, Harrie.", she told him by matching her eyes with his eyes.
          "Thanks for that, but it was my duty to donate money for needful people. Actually, I am alone and not having family or any other dependents. So, I have donate it. I am lonely in my home.", he said
           "Oh!!! I am sorrie!!! what was happened to your wife??? are you divorcee or your wife has died.", she asked with sympathy.
           "I am bachelor. Never married with anybody. I have my own past.", he replied by watching down.
           "Anything personal??? would you like to share with me???", she asked him.
           "We will talk about this later. This is working time. Have a nice day, Melissa.", he told her and gone to out of canteen.
           "Wait!!! I am sorry!!! if I hurt you."she said while coming out from the door.
           " It's alright!!! you have not done that. Actually, I had seen my watch. Let's go to check new equipments ", he smiled and both started walking to ICU room.

         Both has started to test new equipments. Harrie was guiding her while testing them. She was fluent while working with equipments. She seemed happy while testing and using new installed things. 

         "Where is Christine??? she was so happy last evening. She came with me to my car in parking.", he asked her.

         " Krishi !!! she is quite energetic Girl. She will not come today because of heavy fever. I had visited her in very early morning. Her father had inform me. I had treated her. ", she told him with serious face.

         "Oh God!!! Why the damn fever had covered her, suddenly???", he asked her.

         "She was roaming in the street while snow was falling there. She was shopping some books and walking on road. And the result came with her. Fever!!!", she told.

          "Ok!!! I am going to check my patients now. We will meet for lunch.", she told with shy face.

          "Ok!!! We will meet there. Any feedback about new installed things???", he asked with professional face.

          " We will talk while lunch." she replied while walking to other ICU.
          He turned back to his team and started working. The work was near to be finished in that room. But it was needing 2-3 hours more for that. He has found that the room was empty and Nurse was also not there on her table. But, he has not asked to anybody about that.

          Dr. Michael was visiting the ICU installed with new system and equipments. Harrie was explaining him about each of of them. Dr. Melissa entered there with few files and started to check again all equipments. They had tested all and the feedback given by Dr. Michael to him in good smile. But, Dr. Melissa was still using one equipment and trying to compare the previous result with new one. After some time She smiled and became so happy. 

          "Ti's quite advanced thing. I can't believe this. It is so clear than previous result. Amazing!!!", she told him. Dr. Michael smiled and shaken hand with him. He has gone out of the room. Dr. Melissa came to him and asked for the lunch. He replied her positively. He was not appeared in good mood. 

          "What happened ??? Are you sad ???", She asked him

          "Nothing!!! I am alright!", he replied with watching down.

          "You are hiding something. Tell me, what happened??? We are friends now.", she asked him with sympathy.

          " Actually, I have never smoked. But, last night I have smoked 10 cigarettes in 2 hours while talking with my friend on phone. Today, I am having headache.", he replied.

          "Oh!!! that's bad matter. Anyways, have some food first then take few medicine. I will give you after lunch. Everything will be all right. ok???", She gave some soft words to him. He smiled and started the lunch.

          "Your smile is so nice, Harrie!!!", she told him. 

          "Yes, it is really nice!!!", Christine said while joining them.

          "Krishi, why have you come suddenly??? How dare you to leave the bed???", Dr. Melissa told her with some anger.

          "Calm down!!! I am in hospital now. The best caring place in town under my elder sister's supervision for me.", she told her and kissed her face. Both smiled and continued eating. He was watching both of them. They were not only Colleagues but having nice friendship also like sisters. Suddenly, Dr. Melissa was called in ICU immediately.  She dropped her dish into dustbin and ran to the ICU. 

          "Doctors are so busy 24X7. When will she get time for food ??? ", he asked to her.

          "Yeah, we are always ready for duty. We have to be prepared for all emergencies, because nothing is more important than the human life. She will get some food after treating the patient. Don't worry!!!", she replied to him.

          "In last 36 hours, I have got nice friends. You, Melissa and Michael. Michael is my school time friend, but you two have become good friends with me. I have never got this kind of environment. I have worked with many hospital. All were professionals and selfish. I feel strange by having this environment here.", He told her.

           "Only our department is having this environment, others are same like you have faced in past.", She said.

           "Let me ask you something, if you don't mind.", she said

           "Come on !!! you don't need my permission for that.", he replied.

           "Tell me something about Melissa's physical status.", she told him in flirty mood while walking out from the canteen. 

           "She is good with good smile and having heart full of humanity. She works with excellent knowledge.", he replied with slight shy face.

           " I am talking about her body. Tell me about that. It will between you and me. Don't worry!!!", She cleared the subject. 

           "I have never mind her body. I have seen her face only whenever I have talked. I am only interested in person's feelings about me. I don't care about anybody's body or physical status, though they have rich or poor. It doesn't relate with my friendship status.", he answered clearly.

           "I am happy now. You are really good person. I am having you as friend is really good for me. But, we have some age difference. May be our thoughts will not matched somewhere.", She told him.

           "Everybody has their own opinions. We can share our thoughts with each other. You are doctors and I am IT Professional. Definitely, our thoughts will not match in future, but we will be together with different opinions and thoughts. By the way, I am 35 years old.", he replied.

           "9 years younger than me. I am surprised. I thought you may between 28 to 30.", Dr. Melissa told. They had reached to her cabin. 

           "10 years elder than me, Harrie. Let's see, how will we see all things by our eyes.", she told.

           "It's injection time, baby!!!", Dr. Melissa told her by showing her the bed. Nurse smiled and prepared the injection for her.

           "I don't like this, even I hate this injections for me.", she told to Dr. Melessa.

           "You are behaving like kid!!!", Harrie told her with laugh.

           Dr.Christine got tears in eyes while taking the injection. Dr. Melissa squeezed her in arms like her baby. Harrie was watching them with happy face. The environment in cabin was full of happy feelings. And the day was going to end. Work was started in second ICU room and he has to see the progress of work. He came out from there silently.

Episode 1:

       It was the timing 9:45 a.m. in the wall clock of Sterling Hospital. Harold Simpson is at reception and talked.
      "Hello Ma'am, I am Harold Simpson. Can I see Dr. Michael Arcglitz please?"
      "I have to check his appointments. Please wait, I will call you. Please sit there." Said the receptionist.
      "Please call him. He is waiting for me." He said.
      "Sorry Sir, I follow our protocols. Let me check his appointments first." She said.
      " Ok, I am there in sittings. But do this as soon as possible." He said.
      " Yes, Sir! your appointment was booked. You can meet him now." she replied with confirmation in list.
      "Thank you ! I will do. Will you guide me to his place?" He asked.
      "His cabin at upstair first floor. Right from staircase. You will get his name plate there." She answered with smile.
      "Thank you, Ma'am. Have a good day." He replied with smile.
      "Thank you, Sir. You too." she replied.
             He started to the stairs and reached at the cabin. He knocked the door. Nurse came to him and told him. "He is coming, Sir. Please wait for him there" She showed him sittings. But, before he went there Dr. Micahel Arcglitz came to him and told "You have come earlier, Mr. Simpson."
           "Yes, Dr. Archglitz. I am 5 minutes earlier."He told
           "a ha ...! stop this formalities, Harrie. Come with me."
           "You can called me Michael here. Same as like our school days." Dr. Michael told him with smile.
           " Oh Michael!!!! you have become Dean of this Hospital now. You was my senior in school, brother" he replied while walking with him.
           Both entered in conference hall. Dr. Michael has shown him the plans of each floor. It was the hospital with 24 floors. He had also given information about the current systems and connections of the Hospital. There were lot of problems with their current equipments, their connectivity and  few of them were not working properly. The hospital needed new equipments and system which works properly and fluently. Harold Simpson was an owner of a small firm which was working for IT enabled services for hospitals. He had submitted the tender and selected by the directors of the hospital. He has collected all the information about the current system and needs of new equipments before the visit by his technicians.
          "I have collected all the information before came here, Michael. I need your permissions to start the installation work. Tell me, from which department I should start my work?" He asked.
          "Start it with emergency section. We are facing too much trouble while working. It is at ground floor. Dr. Melissa Stephen is Head of the Department Medicine. She will help you and guide you for working places." Dr. Michael replied.
          "Ok, Michael. Let me see her for talk about our work. Tell me, where is her cabin?" He asked.
          " Wait. I am calling her. Have a coffee with me till she come. Ok?" Dr. Michael told
          "That will be better for me. I need the coffee. Really I need it." He replied with his eyebrows up.
          Both had started to talk about the equipments and their qualities. Dr. Michael have a happy mood and remembered his school days with him. They were talking about the new system too. Suddenly, they heard a lady's voice and seen at door.
           "Good Morning!!! Dr. Michael" Dr. Melissa entered with smile in the cabin.
           "Good Morning, Have a sit Dr. Melissa" Dr. Michael welcomed her with smile.
           "I need to talk about new system and equipments first." she told.
           "He is Mr. Harold Simpson, owner of the contract of the new system and equipments. He will explain you about it and you will guide him about all the rooms, wards, cabins and  ICUs. Ok?" He intrduced her with him.
           "Hello, Mr. Simpson." She smiled to him.
           " Harrie! please call me Harrie." He replied with smile.
           " You can also call me Melissa. I will try to guide you about all of our places." she told him.
          " Ok! Michael ! It is working time my friend." He told him.
          "Ok, All the best!" He told.
              Dr. Melissa was leading him to the ground floor to her cabin. She was talking with him regarding old system and he was explaining her about new system and equipments. He dialed number to his Assistant Jacob Bishop. He told him about supplies of equipments to the Sterling Hospital.

        Both were discussing about the work could start from the place chosen by Dr. Melissa. He was waiting for his team and van of equipments.
            "Melissa, it was so much helpful information and guides from you for my work. I am comfortable with all this guidance. Thank you for all this" He said
           "Harrie, would you like to have a coffee with me?" She asked him.
           "Coffee? Sure..why not? It will be my pleasure." He replied with strange face expressions but with smile.
           She lead him to the canteen and brought two cups for both. Suddenly, he got call on his mobile about his team has reached at Hospital with equipments. He told him to wait for him. After completed the coffee silently, he told Dr. Melissa, "We will meet in the ICU No.1. Ok?"
           "I will meet you after 20 minutes. I have to see my patient waiting in OPD", she replied
           "Ok Melissa! It was nice coffee with you.", he replied
           "I would like to have coffee with you daily, if you don't mind.", she replied with big eyes.
           "Sure, we will!!!!", he told with nodding head.
          He has started walking to the main door. He has found his team and the Van of equipments out side the Hospital. He started guiding to his team about the ICU and the places where new equipment was to be installed. They have started to shift equipments from van to ICU No.1. During this period, Dr. Melissa has joined them again. All of them were in ICU for the installations.
            Dr. Melissa went again for patients of her OPD. The team has started work with guidance by him. Harrie was near at the table of nurse who was at duty. She was talking on phone with the account department.
              "They have not so sufficient money. She has also not the insurance of sufficient amount. We have to talk with Dr. Melissa for that." She said on phone and hung up the receiver.
              " What happened, Ma'am?", He asked to the nurse.
              "There is a lady having age of 26 years on the bed no. 7. She is from Berlin for the studies here. She had relationship with her classmate and became pregnant. She had fallen down from stairs and got big injury. She is in critical condition from yesterday and the man had run away from here. Now, she is lonely and can not be send back to her country as she is having citizenship here. Nobody has visited her from last 36 hours. We need more money for her operations and abortion. We have no way besides talking with HOD of Medicine instead of Gynecology because she was admitted by Dr. Christine James from Medicine. She is neighbor of her.", Nurse told him the story.
               "How much money you need for that?", he asked her.
               "Around 8000 dollars, Sir.", she replied.
               "Ok!!! I will arrange the money in half an hour. Her treatment must not be stopped. This is the matter of humanity and I am human. Please start the preparations of her operations. I will be back with money soon. I have got a contract here and all these people working here is my team members. I will submit the money soon.", He replied.
               He started to the main door for the arrangement of the money. He was walking with big steps like running in passage. After few minutes he was at the account section for submitting the money. He returned to the nurse and asked about that lady's treatment. She was very happy with the event and assured him about her treatment. The lady brought to the operation theater and the operation was begun. The day was near about at its end. He ordered his team for stopped the work at 6:30 p.m.
               He thanked to Dr. Melissa for the  guidance and started walking to the main door. Suddenly, he heard somebody's loud voice. He turned back to the direction of voice came. He found a young lady was running to him with smile. She reached to him.
              "Sir, thank you very much for that help. She is my neighbor in my apartment.", She told him
              " It's all right, doctor ???", he stopped saying.
              " I am Dr.Christine James. I am Medical Officer in Medicine Department.", She introduced herself.
              "I am Harold Simpson. I have got the contract of new installations.", he replied to that young lady with smile.
              He was feeling strange while looking to her face and she was also become happy to see him. Both were silent and watching to each other with strange feelings.
              "Ok!!! I have to leave now. We will meet tomorrow.", He told her.
              "If you don't mind!!! can come with you to your car, please???", she asked him.
              "Ummm !!! ok... you can!!!", he allowed her.
             Both have started walking out from the passage. He told her about his taken part in the activities of working for charities. She has told about her work and post in her department.
             They reached in the parking area. He got his driver seat and told her bye for the day. He started his car and she was watching his car going out from the parking area with happy and smiling face.
